We love Ma's. The food is great and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. It is a great place to watch games, catch up with friends and let the kiddos play. Sometimes it gets busy but our service has always been good with friendly staff. They also make great margaritas.

Too bad the service sucks so bad, because the calzones are pretty good and so is the happy hour. I'm probably not going back to Ma's because if I'm going to give someone my money, I need some service for that hard earned dough and I'm not talking pizza dough!

That's it! No more Ma's! For the third week in a row we weren't waited on for almost half an hour! Friday I even stood up and waved my arms to the non-functional crew...they just stared. C'mon Carleton, WTF? I love your product if you give me a chance to buy it! TJ

Ma's is by far the best pizzeria that I have been to in the Boulder/Longmont area. They have great food (*always hot, perfectly new flavor, and fresh,crisp, green veggies). Some of the best micro-brews in Lyons to go along with the sports bar environment that is great to enjoy any sport on TV. I couldn't be happier with the wait staff, both out on the floor and behind the counter and bar. Furthermore, not forgeting the competitive but fair prices, as well as a steller happy hour. It is perfect walking distance from anywhere in town, and it is wounderful to spend some time somewhere different rather than the same old you know where's. So thank you Ma's Pizzeria for being in Lyons. I think you are a great addition to our community.

Hey Carlton...
We ordered your pizza Sunday night, as per our kids request, as we were leaving them for a surprise party. I was told 25 minutes to pick up, i showed up after 30 and they were JUST putting it in. I paid for it, that was stupid, thinking we would come back, but you can't be late for a surprise party! Carly and crew certainly didn't feel bad they mis-lead me on the time. I know it was a busy night and all, but i'm out $ for the cheese pizza i never got AND I had to make them dinner... Guess i wanted you to know... Any chance for a re-do?

Not only were the veggies on my salad old (tomatoes and lettuce wilting/old) my pizza tasted like an old piece of cardboard. I would have left unhappy with the food but then the bafoon behind the counter patronized me. Don't waste your time with this place. Food bad, service worse.

9 Feet? What's that some kind of regulation thing about signage in Lyons? Lyons has some funny rules about signs don't they.
Everyone is so excited about the new sushi resturant opening up... maybe you'll get some of the out of town'r overflow?

In reply to comments about my "sketchy" business hours, I would first like to say I apologize to you because I can't say that your complaint is completely inaccurate. While this is not an excuse, I do have several reasons for the inconsistant hours. From the time I established Ma's Pizzeria in 2006, I have tried many approaches to see my business grow and unfortunately have seen all of them shot down. A lack of due diligence to address important economic problems ( not only for the town and townspeople, but for those of us that are small business owners in the town) has slowly drained my motivation. Even more discouraging has been the lack of support from a select group of locals that have repeatedly prevented success and growth of the town.
9 feet and probably 9 vocal people have stood in my way of achieving the goal in which I invested a substantial amount of money, time, and energy into. I am sorry this has negatively affected you but I do not fully accept the blame.

Your hours are sketchy at best. Several times, I called to listen to an outdated message. I do like your pizza, but wish that your hours were more convenient and your service more consistent.
